# Ghost in Shell

> Ghost in Shell is a free, AI-powered terminal for macOS. It runs your real zsh or bash; type plain English at the prompt and a question is answered inline while a task comes back as a ready-to-run shell command staged for review. A git-aware file editor sits beside the shell, and a floating always-on-top panel supervises every AI coding agent you have running (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, aider, goose, Copilot) across all windows. Bring your own model: GPT-5.x, Claude, any custom model id, or fully local models through Ollama. No account required.
